Job Description:
Are you a Healthcare Assistant with a strong background in caring for people with dementia and other health conditions? This Healthcare Assistant agency position in Swansea supports you to work where and when you want, while delivering therapeutic, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and therapeutic support to residents in nursing and residential homes across Swansea
- Use manual handling equipment in a live care environment (training offered)
- Support the implementation of care and treatment plans
- Deliver companionship and emotional support to residents and their families
- Work across days, nights, and weekends to meet service needs
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in healthcare (care/nursing sector experience preferred)
- Experience using manual handling equipment in a live environment is key (training offered)
- A genuine desire to make a difference to elderly residents, particularly those living with dementia
- Right to work in the UK
- Availability to work flexible shifts in Swansea
