Salary: £140 - £220 per day
Job Description:
Are you a qualified History Teacher seeking flexible teaching opportunities in Southport? Our client, a leading specialist provider of education staffing, is looking for experienced History Teachers to join their team.
As a Secondary History Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. This role is ideal for confident educators who enjoy adapting to new environments and inspiring learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage classrooms of learners in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Prepare classrooms and plan schemes of work where required
- Deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Engage students and manage behaviour in accordance with school policies
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- References covering the last two years
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
