Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – SEN and Literacy Support

Our client, a leading specialist provider, is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team in Wirral. Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with English and Literacy, focusing on phonics and language development
- Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies in an SEN setting
- Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and other professionals to deliver tailored interventions
- Support students in managing behavioural challenges and promoting positive behaviour
- Contribute to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils as required
Requirements:
- HLTA training or equivalent qualification
- Experience working with children, either paid or voluntary, particularly within SEN or SEMH settings
- Strong understanding of special educational needs and behaviour management
- Proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils
- Excellent team-working skills and a collaborative attitude
- Willingness to undertake training and professional development
