Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Job Description:
A thriving primary school in the Wirral is seeking a dedicated and caring Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.
This role involves working closely with teachers and pupils in Year 5 and Year 6 classes, supporting learning, running intervention groups, and covering lunchtime duties. They are committed to providing an outstanding education in a nurturing environment where children love to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant based in the Wirral, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting classroom activities and assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Leading intervention groups to support pupils' individual learning needs.
- Covering part of the lunchtime supervision to ensure a safe and positive environment for children.
- Collaborating with staff to promote a calm, purposeful, and curious classroom atmosphere.
- Contributing to the school’s culture of respect, engagement, and professional development.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- Previous Higher Level Teaching Assistant experience in a primary school setting.
- A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- A full enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.
- A kind, collaborative, flexible attitude, and a keen desire to learn and develop professionally.
