We are looking for a HLTA to support with interventions in English and Literacy to start from September in a full-time, long-term role for the whole academic year.

Pay: up to £140 per day
About the Role:
This school is a specialist school for children with SEMH.
As a HLTA working in alternative provision, you will play a crucial role in supporting students to manage their behavioral challenges whilst supporting and nurturing the students in the classroom.
Your main focus will be to support the students with English and English literacy working on phonics.
You will work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and other professionals to develop and implement behaviour management strategies and provide targeted support.
The ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant Wanted will possess:
- HLTA Training
- A keen interest in working with children
- Experience (paid or voluntary) working with Children and/or in the care sector
- Experience working within an SEN and SEMH setting.
- Open to training and development
- Proactive work ethic
- A good understanding of special educational needs
- The ability to provide a range of support to pupils
- A patient and understanding attitude
- The ability to work as part of a team
