Salary: £13.68 per hour (including holiday pay)

As a Homeless Support Worker in Swansea, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals facing homelessness and related challenges, helping them to rebuild their lives with compassion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support hostel occupants in adhering to rules and regulations
• Provide emotional support to individuals experiencing homelessness or other vulnerabilities
• Explain and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures within the hostel
• Offer relevant information to visitors and residents
• Liaise with Housing Officers to meet client needs effectively
• Promote equality and diversity within the supported housing environment
• Maintain high standards of customer care and support

Requirements:

• Strong empathetic approach and value base
• Experience within a social care or supported housing environment (desirable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts (7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am)
• Commitment to promoting safety, equality, and high-quality support
