Job Title: Homeless Support Worker – Swansea

Location: Swansea, Wales

Salary: £13.68 per hour (including holiday pay)

As a Homeless Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting people experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, learning disabilities, or recovering from substance misuse. Key Responsibilities:

• Support hostel occupants in adhering to rules and regulations
• Provide emotional and practical support to individuals in supported housing environments
• Explain and enforce health and safety procedures within the hostel
• Offer relevant information to visitors and clients
• Liaise with Housing Officers to meet client needs effectively
• Promote equality, diversity, and high standards of customer care

Requirements:

• Strong empathetic approach and value-based attitude
• Experience in social care or supported housing environments is preferred
• Ability to work flexibly across various shifts (7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting well-being
