Kitchen staff

Vetro Recruitment are seeking dedicated Kitchen Staff to join a friendly team at a primary school in Southport.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing healthy, nutritious meals for children. You will be responsible for preparing and serving school meals, ensuring a high standard of food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.

Position Details:

• Location: Primary School, Southport

• Hours: 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday (term time only)

• Contract: Temp 

• Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation and cooking of school meals.

• Serving food to pupils and staff with a friendly smile.

• Washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and maintaining a hygienic work environment.

• Following all food safety and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable, but not essential.

• A positive attitude and a passion for working with children.

• The ability to work well as part of a team.

• An Enhanced DBS check will be required
