Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker – Night Shifts
Location: Ystrad Mynach, Wales
Salary: £14.24 per hour (inclusive of holidays)

Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Learning Disability Support Workers for waking night shifts in Ystrad Mynach. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adults with learning and mobility difficulties. As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will provide compassionate care and support, helping individuals to achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life. Immediate starts are available for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic care to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs
• Observe, monitor, and record patient conditions accurately
• Assist with personal care, medication administration, and food preparation
• Support service users in accessing community activities and outings
• Help individuals progress through care pathways towards greater independence
• Work collaboratively with a team of multi-professionals to deliver holistic support

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months experience working within a social care setting
• Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
• A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
• Right to work in the UK
