Job Description:

As a Learning Support Assistant in Wirral, you will support pupils with their educational and social development, helping create a positive learning environment. Whether you're looking for day-to-day, short-term, or long-term assignments, this role provides the flexibility to fit around your personal commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and supervising educational games, sports, and craft activities
- Assisting children with reading and literacy activities
- Preparing classrooms for lessons and activities
- Working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, including children with additional needs
- Helping to create displays of children's work
- Supporting teachers with classroom management and behaviour
- Supervising children during trips and outdoor activities
- Listening to children read, telling stories, and encouraging their development
- Assisting children who need extra support to complete tasks
Requirements:
- At least 3 months of experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or similar settings
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Flexibility and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning
