Job Description
Level 3 Nursery Assistant required for a full-time nursery setting in Caerphilly, Caerphilly. This is an on-site role supporting early years learning and care as part of a wider team focused on children’s wellbeing, safety, and development. Working hours will follow a shift pattern, typically between 8:00am and 5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities
As a Level 3 Nursery Assistant based in Caerphilly, your daily duties will include:

• Supporting children’s learning through age-appropriate play, activities, and routines aligned with early years practice
• Promoting safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour management in line with setting policies
• Assisting with personal care, mealtimes, and transitions throughout the day, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Level 3 Nursery Assistant, you will need:

• Level 3 Childcare Qualification (or equivalent early years/childcare qualification)
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting (paid or substantial placement-based experience)
• Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one in line with compliance requirements)
