Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Caerphilly, Wales for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to support students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Sixth Form, delivering engaging lessons within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Maths Teacher based in Caerphilly, your daily duties will include:

Leading and managing a classroom of learners across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Sixth Form.
Preparing and delivering lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Planning schemes of work and resources to facilitate effective learning.
Marking and assessing student work, providing constructive feedback.
Organising and participating in parents’ evenings and school events.
Supporting learners’ progress through personalised teaching strategies.
Maintaining a positive classroom environment following the school’s behaviour management policies.
Collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve teaching practices.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Maths Teacher in Caerphilly, you will need:

At least 1 year of Maths teaching experience (exceptions may be made for NQTs).
Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent.
Registration as a Teacher with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – assistance available.
References covering the last two years (no gaps).
A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
The right to work in the UK.
