Job Description:
Maths Teacher required for a secondary school in Caerphilly, Wales for the 2026–2027 academic year. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to deliver high-quality Maths teaching across multiple key stages within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Maths Teacher based in Caerphilly, your daily duties will include:

Teaching engaging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Sixth Form
Planning lessons, schemes of work, and learning resources aligned to the national curriculum
Marking and assessing work, providing clear feedback to support progress
Maintaining a positive learning environment in line with school behaviour management policies
Supporting learners through differentiated and personalised teaching strategies
Participating in parents’ evenings and wider school events
Collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practice

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Maths Teacher, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas equivalent
At least 1 year of Maths teaching experience (NQTs may be considered)
Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration (support available)
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
References covering the last two years (with no gaps)
Right to work in the UK
