Key Responsibilities:

  • Support trained nurses in delivering direct patient care within a mental health setting in Aberdare.
  • Observe, monitor, and record patient conditions accurately.
  • Provide therapeutic care with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients requiring low secure care.
  • Support patients with severe and enduring mental illness, personality disorders, or mental health needs on locked wards.
  • Contribute to the overall wellbeing and recovery of patients in Aberdare.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months recent experience in an acute mental health setting in the UK.
  • Practical Manual Handling and TMVA (BILD Accredited) training.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • UK residency.
  • Driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
  • Registration with Social Care Wales.
