Job Description:
A Nursery Practitioner is required to join a vibrant early years setting in Cardiff, working as part of a supportive team focused on children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who can help maintain high standards of care and education while promoting an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Nursery Practitioner based in Cardiff, your daily duties will include:

• Supporting the delivery of high-quality early years education within the nursery setting
• Working closely with the Class Teacher to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
• Assisting with daily routines, including personal care, play-based learning, and classroom activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and supporting children’s social and emotional development
• Maintaining safeguarding standards and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children
• Helping to plan and organise engaging activities that stimulate learning and development

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Nursery Practitioner, you will need:

• A relevant childcare / early years qualification (preferred)
• Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting (ideally within Cardiff)
• Confidence providing personal care and supporting individual needs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Knowledge of the early years curriculum and safeguarding procedures
• Availability for full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30
