Job Description
We are recruiting an Occupational Therapist (Term Time Only) to join a specialist education setting in Brecon, Powys. This is an opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting children and young people with additional learning needs through high-quality assessment and intervention.
Key Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist (Term Time Only) based in Brecon, your daily duties will include:
- Delivering occupational therapy assessments and tailored intervention programmes for children and young people with complex needs
- Working closely with education staff, families, and wider professionals to embed practical strategies into everyday learning
- Supporting independence, participation, sensory processing, and functional skills through individual and group-based input
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as an Occupational Therapist (Term Time Only), you will need:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel between sites
- Enhanced DBS Check (required for working with children and young people)
