Off-Shift Deputy Manager, Children's Residential Services

Are you a strong and experienced manager looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in young people's lives? We're seeking a dedicated Off-Shift Deputy Manager to support our two children's residential services in Crediton, caring for children aged 8-16 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team across a 2-bed and a 4-bed service. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and high standards of care during off-shift hours.

Position: Off-Shift Deputy Manager
Location: Crediton, Devon
Salary: £37,440 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role:

As Off-Shift Deputy Manager, you'll be responsible for the effective leadership and management of our residential services outside of core operational hours. This will include providing support and guidance to staff, ensuring the welfare and safety of the children, and maintaining a nurturing and therapeutic environment.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Is a strong and capable manager with proven experience in children's residential care.
Possesses excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with EBD.
Is committed to upholding high standards of care and compliance.
