We are searching for a dedicated Off-Shift Deputy Manager to support a leading specialist provider of children’s residential care. This role involves overseeing two children’s residential services in Crediton, caring for children aged 8-16 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage residential services outside of core hours, ensuring high-quality care provision
- Support and mentor staff, providing guidance to maintain their professional development
- Uphold children’s safety and welfare, responding promptly to any incidents or concerns
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and care policies
- Foster a positive, caring atmosphere that promotes the emotional wellbeing of children
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the services to improve outcomes for children with EBD
Candidate Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a manager within children’s residential care
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Genuine passion for supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Commitment to high standards of care, safety, and regulatory compliance
