I am recruiting for an Operations Manager to join an established, growing organisation that currently has 9 children’s residential services across the West Midlands and Staffordshire, caring for children with Learning Disabilities and Complex needs.

Job Role: Operations Manager
Location: West Midlands and Staffordshire (Advertised at Stafford as a central point)
Salary: £65,000 + £10,000 annual bonus + £3,000 welcome bonus
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
The Role:
As an Operations Manager, you’ll oversee multiple locations, providing direct line management to Registered Managers and ensuring quality, customer satisfaction, and financial targets are met.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Oversee care operations and environments: Ensure effective management of all care delivery and physical settings.

Support Home Managers: Provide direct line management and supervision to our Home Managers.

Ensure compliance: Uphold all organisational policies, procedures, and relevant legal standards.

Collaborate for service excellence: Work closely with the Senior Management Team to optimise service delivery.

Lead safeguarding: Drive and manage all safeguarding initiatives to protect children and staff.

Support growth: Assist with admissions and placement goals alongside the Referrals team.

Develop comprehensive plans: Create and maintain robust placement, risk, and healthcare plans.

Foster team strength: Promote staff stability, competence, and motivation.

Enhance training: Conduct training needs analysis and contribute to the Inspire training program.
The successful candidate will be a results-driven leader who has:

NVQ Level 5 in leadership and management (Children & Young People)

Multi-site management experience
-
Experience as either an Operations Manager, Regional Manager, Service Manager or Registered Manager in Children's Residential Services

Proven track record of good or outstanding Ofsted judgements
