Operations Manager - Residential Care

Salary- £32,000 - £38,00 Dependant upon experience

Are you a highly organised and proactive Operations Manager with a passion for residential care? We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee the daily management of our care services, ensuring our homes run smoothly and efficiently.

This role is a unique blend of leadership and administration, covering everything from HR and finance to facilities and compliance. You'll be the backbone of our operations, working closely with our Responsible Individual and Registered Managers to maintain our high standards of care and organisational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, recruitment, and facilities management across our residential care homes.

  • HR & Recruitment: Oversee safer recruitment processes, manage job postings and interviews, and ensure all staff records and training are up to date.

  • Financial Oversight: Coordinate home budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings and financial efficiency.

  • Compliance & Administration: Ensure all records (staff, resident, and company) are maintained securely and in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resource allocation and operational efficiency.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within residential care, healthcare, or a similar regulated environment.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with a solid understanding of HR, recruitment, and compliance.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with all stakeholders.

  • A proactive and independent approach to balancing strategic planning with hands-on management.
