Job Description:
An established specialist provider is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee six children's residential homes in the North West. This is a vital leadership role within a dedicated organisation committed to providing high-quality care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). The Operations Manager will ensure all homes meet OFSTED standards, lead safeguarding initiatives, and manage budgets effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operational management of six children's residential homes in the North West.
- Line manage Registered Managers across all homes.
- Ensure all homes comply with OFSTED guidelines and regulations.
- Lead on safeguarding concerns and promote a safe environment for children.
- Manage budgets and financial planning for the homes.
- Lead on continuous improvement and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure staff are well-supported and development needs are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with external agencies and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
- Proven operations management experience within children’s residential services.
- Strong understanding of OFSTED regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and drive organisational efficiency.
- Full driving licence is essential.
