We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Responsible Individual / Operations Manager to join a growing children’s residential care provider with an established portfolio of high-quality homes.

An Operations Director with previous Responsible Individual experience, providing strong guidance and understanding of the role
The Role
As Responsible Individual / Operations Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the governance, quality, and operational performance of the homes, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:

Acting as the Responsible Individual in line with Ofsted regulations

Providing strategic and operational leadership across the homes

Ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and outcomes for children

Supporting, mentoring, and developing Registered Managers

Overseeing compliance, audits, and quality assurance processes
-
Leading on the setup and registration of new homes joining the portfolio
-
Working closely with the SMT and Directors to support growth and stability
About You
You will be:
-
An experienced Responsible Individual and/or Operations Manager within children’s residential care
-
Strongly knowledgeable in Ofsted regulations and quality frameworks
-
Confident managing multiple services and supporting Registered Managers
-
Organised, approachable, and child-focused in your leadership style
-
Comfortable working across Bradford and Derby as required
