Part-Time Responsible Individual (RI) - Children's EBD Home, Liverpool
Day Rate: £350 - £550
Are you an experienced and dedicated professional seeking a significant part-time oversight role? We are looking for a Responsible Individual (RI) to oversee the opening and initial operation of a brand-new, 3-bedded children's home in Liverpool.
This service will specialize in supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a pivotal, high-impact role. You will be instrumental in ensuring the service is effective, safe, and meets all regulatory standards from day one, working closely with the Director to successfully launch and guide this new home to compliance and success.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Formal Registration: Formally register as the RI for the new home with Ofsted.
- Launch Oversight: Ensure the new service is fit for purpose, operational, and ready for a successful launch.
- Ensure Compliance: Guarantee the home consistently meets and exceeds all Ofsted guidelines, National Minimum Standards, and company policies.
- Support Management: Provide expert guidance and direct line management to the Registered Manager, focusing on recruitment and safeguarding practices.
- Implement Policies: Develop, review, and implement essential operational policies and procedures for the home.
Contract and Requirements
- Contract: This is a part-time, self-employed contract requiring approximately one day per week. An immediate start is available to support the launch.
- Compensation: A competitive day rate between £350 - £550.
What You'll Bring
- Experience: Proven experience as a Responsible Individual in a children's residential setting is essential.
- Qualification: An NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or an equivalent qualification.
- Other: A valid driving license is required.
