Key Responsibilities:
As a Secondary Supply Teacher based in Newport, your daily duties will include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Adapting quickly to different school routines and setups.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
- EWC registration (or willingness to register before starting).
- Confidence teaching secondary-aged pupils across various subjects.
- Strong classroom management skills, reliability, and adaptability.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
