Our client, a leading primary school in Bargoed, Caerphilly, is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general support in the Foundation Phase to aid children's learning and development
• Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver engaging and effective classroom activities
• Assist in creating a warm, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• Support individual students or small groups to help them achieve their academic and social goals
• Help with classroom organization and resources as needed
• Promote student well-being and behavioural management strategies

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with primary or early years children is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Enthusiastic, patient, and proactive attitude
• Relevant qualifications or training in supporting children’s education (desirable but not essential)
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
