Our client, a leading primary school in Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taf, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Primary School Teaching Assistant to join their welcoming team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to teachers within the foundation phase.
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging educational activities for early years and key stage 1 students.
• Support individual pupils and small groups to develop their literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher to track student progress and adapt support strategies accordingly.
• Contribute to the overall well-being and development of pupils, promoting positive behavior.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with primary school children is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, caring, and patient approach to working with young children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
• Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is advantageous but not essential.
