Job Description:
Are you passionate about fostering a positive learning environment for young children? We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a reputable school in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf. This full-time, long-term role offers an excellent opportunity to support young learners in the foundation phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support within the foundation phase of primary education
• Collaborate closely with the Class Teacher to deliver engaging learning activities
• Assist in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all pupils
• Support individual and group learning, ensuring all students can access the curriculum
• Supervise and encourage pupils during lessons, transitions, and breaktimes
• Aid in the management of classroom resources and learning materials

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in primary or early years settings is preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for nurturing young children's development and learning
• Flexibility and a proactive attitude to support a dynamic classroom environment
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential
