Full-Time Primary School Teacher – Caerphilly
Location: Caerphilly
Contract Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: From £166.33 per day

Vetro Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Caerphilly to recruit an experienced and dedicated Primary School Teacher for a full-time position starting soon. The successful candidate will join a highly supportive team, delivering high-quality teaching within either the Foundation Phase or Key Stage 2, depending on experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident classroom practitioner with a strong track record in primary education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in line with the Welsh Curriculum

• Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

• Establish and maintain clear expectations for behaviour and consistently apply behaviour management strategies

• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to promote pupil development

• Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Significant experience in a primary teaching role (minimum 1 year, more preferred)

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Excellent behaviour management skills and the confidence to lead a classroom effectively

• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching

• A strong understanding of ALN/SEN strategies

• Teamwork and communication skills to work collaboratively across the school

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
