We're looking for a compassionate and proactive Refuge Support Worker to support women fleeing domestic abuse. You'll provide emotional and practical support, help residents access housing, benefits, and essential services, and assist with safety planning and resettlement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide trauma-informed emotional support

  • Develop and review individual support plans
    Liaise with external agencies and advocate for residents
    Assist with housing, benefits, and life skills

  • Ensure a safe and welcoming refuge environment
     

Overview:

  • Title: Refuge Support Worker

  • Job Type: Temporary / Temp-to-perm

  • Immediate starts available

  • Shifts: Ad hoc/temporary/temp to perm/part-time hours/full-time hours

  • Pay: £13.68 p/h (inclusive of holidays)

  • A full UK driving license is required
