Job Title: Regional Operations Manager – Supported Accommodation
Location: Newport, Gwent, and Bristol, Wales
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Regional Operations Manager to oversee supported accommodation services across multiple locations in Newport, Gwent, and Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in operations management within the supported living or youth services sector. The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading teams, and ensuring high-quality service delivery in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of supported accommodation services in Newport and Bristol.
- Lead, mentor, and develop supported accommodation teams to ensure high standards of service.
- Implement and manage operational policies and procedures to optimise performance across regions.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic goals and initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, service users, and community partners.
- Analyse sector needs and local authority policies to identify opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing supported accommodation, youth, or community services.
- Proven track record of managing multiple properties or locations.
- Recent experience as a Supported Accommodation Manager or Children’s Home Manager.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
- Level 4 Diploma for Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (or equivalent).
- Operational knowledge of Ofsted Supported Accommodation Standards and/or CIW.
- Full UK Clean Driving Licence.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent IT, database management, and report writing skills.
- Relevant safeguarding, health, and safety training.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certification in property management.
- Degree in Youth and Community Work.
- Designated Safeguarding Lead/Officer.
- Health & Safety Level 2/3.
- Experience in customer service and community engagement.
