Job Description:
Our client, a leading care provider in Carmarthen, is seeking an experienced Registered Care Home Manager to lead and inspire a dedicated team within a high-quality residential care setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Care Home Manager based in Carmarthen, your daily duties will include:
- Leading and motivating the care team to deliver high standards of care and support.
- Ensuring full compliance with CIW regulations, RISCA standards, and company policies.
- Managing budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively.
- Overseeing staff recruitment, supervision, and performance management.
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals.
- Preparing for inspections and audits, maintaining inspection readiness at all times.
- Supporting continuous service improvement and staff development.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Registered Care Home Manager, you will need:
- Level 5 Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Registered with Social Care Wales or eligible for registration.
- Proven experience as a Care Home Manager, Registered Manager, or Deputy Manager within a regulated care environment.
- Strong knowledge of CIW regulations and RISCA standards.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach.
