Job Description:
Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Care Home Manager to lead a Care Home in Carmarthen. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of care, and inspire a dedicated team within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Care Home Manager based in Carmarthen, your daily duties will include:
- Leading and inspiring the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Ensuring compliance with CIW regulations, RISCA standards, and company policies.
- Managing budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively.
- Building strong relationships with residents and their families to promote satisfaction.
- Liaising with healthcare professionals, external agencies, and the local community to support residents’ needs.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Registered Care Home Manager, you will need:
- Level 5 Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Registered with Social Care Wales (or eligible for registration).
- Previous experience as a Care Home Manager, Registered Manager, or Deputy Manager.
- Strong knowledge of CIW regulations and RISCA standards.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and people management skills.
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach.
