Job Title: Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Care

Salary: £44,800–£48,000 + bonus (up to £52,800 total)
Job Description:
An established specialist provider is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential care home in Cardiff. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for professionals passionate about delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the home operates to the highest standards, complying with regulatory requirements and fostering a nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Support Workers and Deputies to deliver exceptional care.
- Ensure compliance with CIW and SCW regulations and standards.
- Deliver person-centred, trauma-informed care tailored to individual needs.
- Oversee care planning, assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
- Collaborate with the in-house DASHH therapeutic team to support young people's well-being.
Requirements:
- QCF Level 4/5 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People).
- Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in children’s residential care.
- Strong knowledge of Welsh regulatory frameworks.
- Valid driving licence (required).
