Job Description:
We are recruiting a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to support residents in high-standard nursing homes in Bargoed, Caerphilly County Borough. This is a flexible agency opportunity offering days, nights, and weekend shifts, ideal for nurses who are passionate about dementia care and delivering person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered General Nurse (RGN) based in Bargoed, your daily duties will include:
- Administering medication safely and in line with clinical guidance
- Reviewing, planning, and updating individualised care plans
- Implementing care and treatment plans to support residents with dementia and other health conditions
- Liaising with multidisciplinary professionals and communicating effectively with families to ensure continuity of care
- Delivering holistic, therapeutic care that promotes dignity, comfort, and quality of life
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will need:
- Valid NMC registration and PIN
- Previous experience in a nursing role (nursing home, hospital, elderly care, EMI/dementia experience welcomed)
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete required compliance checks (including relevant safeguarding and pre-employment screening)
