An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to oversee an Adults Supported Living Service in the Blackwood area. This role is ideal for someone committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and making a positive impact on the lives of adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. As a Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the service, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the support team, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care.
- Oversee all operational aspects of the supported living service, including staffing, compliance, and health and safety.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families, promoting dignity, respect, and empowerment.
- Conduct regular reviews of residents' needs and develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Keep up-to-date with developments in mental health care practices, legislation, and regulations, ensuring the service operates in compliance with all standards.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a mental health or adult social care setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act and CIW standards.
- Compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with care management systems and Microsoft Office.
