Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the support team, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care.
- Oversee all operational aspects of the supported living service, including staffing, compliance, and health and safety.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families, promoting dignity, respect, and empowerment.
- Conduct regular reviews of residents' needs and develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure the service operates in line with relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices, including mental health care standards.
- Keep up-to-date with developments in mental health care practices, legislation, and regulations.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a mental health care setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of legislation and regulations governing mental health care, including the Mental Health Act and CIW standards.
- Compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with care management systems and Microsoft Office.
