Registered Manager – Children’s Home | Bala | £51,000 + £1,500 Car Allowance + Bonuses

Location: Bala, Gwynedd
Salary: £51,000 per annum + £1,500 car allowance + Quality & Commercial bonus (up to £5,000)
Contract: Full-time, permanent


About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a 4-bed children’s home in the beautiful rural surroundings of Bala. This unique home is set in a charming converted farmhouse with onsite recreational facilities, offering the perfect environment for young people to grow, thrive, and feel safe.

As Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing outstanding care and leadership, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, quality, and compliance in line with CIW regulations.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop a dedicated residential care team.

  • Ensure the highest standards of care and support for children and young people.

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively.

  • Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and professionals.

  • Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for the children in your care.


About You

  • Hold or be working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent.

  • Proven experience managing or deputising in a children’s residential setting.

  • Strong knowledge of CIW regulations and safeguarding procedures.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional care and inspiring your team to do the same.
