Registered Manager – Children’s Home (EBD)

Location: Romney Marsh, Kent


 

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and effective Registered Manager to lead a Children's Home (EBD) on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hours per week). 

This senior role demands strong leadership to drive quality and continuous improvement, ensuring excellent outcomes for the young people.

  • Salary: Up to £65,000 per year (Total compensation package).

  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent.


 

The Role and Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Culture: Demonstrate strong and effective leadership. Inspire, motivate, and build a highly skilled and engaged workforce with a commitment to nurturing staff potential.

  • Safeguarding: Comply with Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures at all times and promote an honest and open culture, developing the staff team’s knowledge and understanding of best practice.

  • Operational Management: Ensure that resources, including staff, are effectively deployed to optimize service delivery.

  • Financial Accountability: Be accountable for effectively managing financial performance and for meeting or exceeding agreed targets.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead a culture of continuous improvement and proactively seek opportunities for innovation to maintain a sustainable and resilient business.

  • Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication with all internal and external stakeholders.


 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Registration Status (Preferred): Currently or previously hold or have held a registration with Ofsted as a Registered Manager.

  • Qualification (Preferred): Have a Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care / Leadership and Management.

  • Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and Ofsted regulation.

  • Leadership: Possess exceptional leadership and management skills.
