Registered Manager – Children's Home (EBD)

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead an already-established 'Good' rated children's home in the Norwich area. This service supports looked after children with emotional and behavioural needs (EBD).

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide strong, values-driven leadership, working closely with the Regional Manager/RI and a dedicated team to shape a positive and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Salary: £39,000 – £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + bonuses.

  • Contract: Permanent, Full-time.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Leadership & Culture: Provide strong values-driven leadership to your staff team, creating a safe and caring environment where children are inspired to achieve.

  • Compliance: Ensure that the home meets and exceeds the Children's Home Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.

  • Quality & Performance: Work closely with the Regional Manager/RI to continually drive quality, performance, and improvement within the home.

  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain excellent relationships with local authorities, professionals, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Registered Manager or a Deputy Manager within a children's residential setting.

  • Qualifications (Essential): A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or currently working towards this qualification.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, Children's Home (England) Regs 2015, and Quality Standards.

  • Attributes: Must be a confident, approachable, and inspirational leader with a passion for improving the lives of children.
