We are recruiting a Children’s Home Manager to lead a brand new 4-bed children’s residential home supporting children with Learning Disabilities (LD) in Pontypool.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Children’s Home Manager, or an Adult Learning Disabilities Manager looking to transition into children’s residential care, with full support from an experienced and hands-on senior management team.
The Role
-
Register and manage a 4-bed LD children’s home

Lead, motivate, and develop a residential care team

Ensure compliance with CIW regulations Wales
-
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and positive outcomes

Oversee safeguarding, care planning, staffing, and budgets

Work closely with a supportive senior leadership team
Who We’re Looking For
-
Experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Home Manager

Children’s residential experience preferred, but strong Adult LD managers encouraged to apply

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)

Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks

Passion for developing a new service from the ground up
