Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to take overall operational responsibility for our services in Gillingham. This role is focused on ensuring smooth operations, effective staff management, and the delivery of exceptional, empowering support within a homely and comfortable environment.

Relocation Support: A relocation package is available for the successful candidate.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Service Delivery: Oversee and monitor person-centered services, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of both the people we support and our staff.

  • Leadership & Supervision: Regularly supervise and coach Deputy Managers, Team Leaders, and Senior Support Workers. Lead recruitment, performance management, and staff development initiatives.

  • Operational Management: Ensure staff actions remain in full compliance with care, protection, and regulatory standards.

  • Financial & Resource Management: Manage service budgets and oversee effective staff deployment and rotas.

  • Quality & IT: Utilize IT systems to manage incidents, quality assurance, occupancy levels, and training records.

  • External Collaboration: Work proactively with external agencies to promote the service and increase referrals and placements.

  • Continuous Improvement: Enhance staff skills through robust inductions and training while continuously developing your own professional practice.
