Registered Manager – Learning Disabilities | Brand New Home

We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a brand new Learning Disabilities (LD) children’s home in Bridgend. This is a solo-occupancy service, offering the opportunity to deliver highly individualised, person-centred care from day one.

This role is open to experienced Adult LD Managers who are looking to transition into children’s residential care. Full support will be provided to complete the required children’s qualification and registration process.

The Role

• Register and manage a brand new solo-occupancy LD children’s home
   

• Lead and develop a specialist residential care team
   

• Ensure compliance with CIW regulations and safeguarding standards
   

• Deliver high-quality, outcome-focused, person-centred care
   

• Oversee care planning, staffing, rotas, budgets, and audits
   

• Work closely with a supportive senior management team
   

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Registered Manager, Home Manager, or Deputy Manager
   

• Adult Learning Disabilities management experience welcomed
   

• Willingness to complete / progress children’s residential qualifications
   

• Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
   

• Passion for developing a new service and achieving excellent outcomes
