Are you a passionate and driven Children’s Residential Home Registered Manager seeking an exciting opportunity in a well-established organisation with an excellent reputation for quality care? Our client, a leading specialist provider of residential services for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), is looking for a motivated and ambitious Registered Manager to lead their stunning 2-bed Children’s EBD home in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.
This is a unique chance to put your own stamp on a high-standard service, making a real difference in the lives of young people. The role involves delivering the highest levels of care and support through effective leadership, management, and direction of the residential children’s service, with a focus on children’s wellbeing and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the residential children’s home in Tewkesbury, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Inspire and motivate staff to deliver exceptional care to children and young people with EBD
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, promoting positive outcomes
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in the Tewkesbury-based home
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, and development to ensure a high-performing team
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to support young people's progress
- Monitor and evaluate service quality, implementing improvements where necessary
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or currently undertaking) in Children’s Services
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children’s Residential Services or equivalent
- Proven experience in a Deputy or Registered Manager role within a residential children’s home environment
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality care
- Full UK driving licence
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
