Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a Children’s Home specializing in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Ilford. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for a professional committed to delivering high-quality care and achieving excellent outcomes for young people. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, ensure compliance with all regulations, and foster a positive, nurturing environment for both staff and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Children’s Home to ensure high standards of care and service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies.
- Promote safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times.
- Develop and motivate staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage resources effectively, including staffing and financial performance.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive innovation and best practices to ensure sustainable service delivery.
- Lead a team to meet and exceed operational targets and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within Children’s Homes in the last 5 years, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Current or previous registration with Ofsted as a Registered Manager (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and Ofsted regulations.
- Leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care, Leadership, or Management (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
