Job Title: Registered Manager – Children's Home (EBD)

Salary: Up to £67,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a Children’s Home specializing in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Hythe. This full-time, permanent role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate passion and commitment to excellent care and positive outcomes for young people.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, Ofsted regulations, and company policies.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a highly skilled staff team, promoting continuous professional growth.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage financial performance and resources efficiently to optimize service delivery.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice.
- Promote safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times.
- Develop staff knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices.
- Celebrate successes and share best practices across the team.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience working within Children’s Homes in the last 5 years, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and Ofsted regulations.
- Previous or current registration with Ofsted as a Registered Manager (preferred).
- Leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care, Leadership, or Management (preferred).
- Strong communication and people management skills.
