Job Description:
Are you a dedicated care professional ready to lead a meaningful residential home for adults with autism? We are seeking a passionate and experienced Home Manager to oversee a 4-bed specialist residential home in Bridgend. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of residents by creating a warm, inclusive, and empowering environment. As the Home Manager at this residential care home in Bridgend, you will lead with compassion, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a dedicated, values-driven team in the residential care home in Bridgend
- Manage a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for residents
- Foster a culture of respect, dignity, and belonging within the home in Bridgend
- Champion person-centred care and promote independence for residents
- Embed Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches to enhance quality of life
- Support and develop staff through coaching and mentoring
- Ensure compliance with care regulations and maintain high standards of care
- Build strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
Requirements:
- QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care or working towards it
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager, ready to step into a Home Manager role
- Strong understanding of adult care regulations and compliance
- Experience supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
- Passion for improving lives and making a positive impact
- Full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS with barred list check
