Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our established residential home in Wokingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the current "Good" Ofsted rating while driving continuous improvement to achieve "Outstanding" standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the high standards of the home to uphold the "Good" Ofsted rating through rigorous quality assurance and compliance with regulations.
- Lead the home through its next phase of growth, including the transition to a dual-registered model.
- Provide strong leadership and supervision to an established staff team, fostering professional development and high morale.
- Ensure the environment remains safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed for young people with EBD.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Ofsted, local authorities, and multi-agency partners.
- Oversee the home’s financial performance, ensuring resources are utilised effectively to support positive outcomes for the children.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager within an EBD setting, with a track record of maintaining "Good" or "Outstanding" Ofsted ratings.
- Strong leadership style capable of managing an established service without disrupting positive culture.
- Knowledge of dual-registration requirements or a willingness to undertake relevant training.
- Excellent analytical skills for monitoring KPIs and quality standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
