We are consistently recruiting for Registered Managers to lead Children’s EBD services across the following Berkshire hubs:

• Reading & Wokingham

• Slough & Windsor

• Bracknell & Sandhurst

• Newbury & Thatcham

## The Role: Leading EBD Excellence

As a Registered Manager within the Berkshire region, you will take full operational and "Registered Person" responsibility for a children’s residential home. We partner with providers who specialize in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), offering you the platform to drive service excellence and achieve an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating.

Whether you are based in Reading, Slough, or Newbury, Vetro Recruitment can match you with a provider that aligns with your therapeutic values and career goals.

## Key Performance Areas

• Ofsted Compliance: Ensure the home consistently meets or exceeds the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

• Team Leadership: Recruit, supervise, and inspire a high-performing care team in Bracknell or Windsor.

• Quality of Care: Develop and monitor bespoke care plans that promote the wellbeing of young people in Wokingham and Thatcham.

• Stakeholder Management: Build strong, professional relationships with local authorities and social work teams across Berkshire.

## Candidate Requirements

• Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or nearing completion).

• Experience: A proven track record in a supervisory or managerial role within a Children’s Residential (EBD) setting.

• Knowledge: Deep understanding of safeguarding, Quality Standards, and the Ofsted inspection framework.

• Mobility: Ability to effectively lead a service within the Berkshire area.
