## Your Core Responsibilities

Ofsted Registration: Assume full responsibility as the "Registered Manager," ensuring the home in Thatcham consistently meets or exceeds the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

Operational Leadership: Manage the day-to-day running of the service, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for young people.

Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a dedicated care team, building a culture of professional excellence across Thatcham and Newbury.

## Essential Requirements

Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (completed or nearing completion).

Experience: A proven track record in a supervisory or management role within an EBD children’s residential setting.

Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Quality Standards and the Ofsted inspection framework.

Leadership: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire a multidisciplinary team.
