## Key Responsibilities

• Ofsted Registration: Act as the "Registered Person" for the Spencers Wood service, ensuring absolute compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

• Leadership: Recruit, supervise, and mentor a high-performing care team, fostering a culture of professional excellence and empathy.

• Service Quality: Implement and monitor internal quality audits to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and therapeutic care.

• Stakeholder Management: Build strong, professional relationships with local authorities in Reading, Wokingham, and West Berkshire.

## Candidate Requirements

• Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (completed or nearing completion).

• Experience: A proven track record in a supervisory or management role within a Children’s Residential (EBD) setting.

• Expertise: Deep understanding of the Quality Standards and a history of successful Ofsted inspections.
