Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Act as the Registered Manager with Ofsted, ensuring the home consistently meets or exceeds the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Lead the service’s relationship with local authorities, health professionals, and educational providers across two counties.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (completed or nearing completion).

  • Experience: Proven success in a managerial role within a children's residential setting, specifically with EBD.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the current Ofsted inspection framework and a history of achieving positive inspection results.

  • Leadership Style: A resilient and empathetic leader who can manage the logistics of a border-county service with professionalism and ease.
