Key Responsibilities

Ofsted Accountability: Act as the Registered Person for the service, ensuring the home operates at the highest standard of compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

Leadership & Culture: Foster a stable and motivated staff team, providing regular supervision and training to ensure the highest quality of therapeutic care.

Therapeutic Oversight: Oversee the daily delivery of individualized care plans, ensuring that every young person is supported to reach their full potential.

Professional Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities in Berkshire and Oxfordshire, as well as educational and health professionals.
Candidate Requirements

Education: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

Experience: Proven track record in a management or supervisory capacity within a children’s EBD residential setting.

Regulatory Expertise: A strong understanding of the Quality Standards and a history of successful interactions with Ofsted inspectors.
